The circuit construction of RE -2 is extremely simple. The right part in the right place - The selection of audio electric parts for vivid sound and the development of exclusive parts   

The amplifier which accomplished Organic sound - this was our consequential proposition of development of RE-2.  It is absolutely necessary to care again sound quality of amplifier from its foundation in order to achieve realistic performance and convey the heart of an artist as if the music was just played in front of eyes. Our technical staff selected standard type push-pull power supply circuit as the answer of it, however, this circuit needs to be equipped with a out-put transformer. Now a days there is not single out-put transformer  which has advanced capacity in the market. Accordingly we cooperated with a manufacturer of transformer in developing advanced transformers, consequently we managed to load it in RE-2. We closely control the winding ratio and tension that we decided on through trial and error and complete various capacities that are needed for out-put transformer such as the low leakage flux.

Thanks to completion of this advanced transformer, RE-2 realized the exclusion of influence from the power supply stage that sways the sound quality of amplifier so that it is not necessary to adopt dual monaural construction in our amplifier. Further nothing of feed back that has a bad influence from speakers is absolutely advantageous for RE-2 which has transformer. 

As simple circuit will be, the parts quality of its circuit sways the quality of sound. We have invested RE-2 with a lot of extravagant audio grade parts such as custom-made transformer for power supply circuit, custom-made audio grade condensers by Nippon Chemi-Con, Tantalum condensers, audio grade input transformers by Tamura, audio grade volumes by Tokyo Kouon and hi-end grade RMG resistors by Riken etc..

RE-2 which invested with various exclusive original parts and carefully selected parts has been tuned up with spending extraordinary time. At the same time the tuning up for RE-2 is fundamentally different from the way that usual amplifiers being done. As the result that we exhaustively disfavored to pursue a performance only for specifications and a compromise and a forced consistence, then we settled devices, parts and numerical values by listening carefully to theirs quality of sounds one by one with the neutral intention without any preconceptions. In fact we do not intend to bend the characteristics of the devices and electric parts intentionally. It is no exaggeration to say that our technician was an attendant to serve the electric circuit and parts from procedural point of view that we can how develop capabilities of circuits and parts and harmonized and link them to sound in RE-2.  Our adoption of the troublesome interconnect wiring unsuitable for a mass production  and special assembling technique are the effect that we excluded any compromises.

Input terminals flexible correspondent ability to other systems & low electric power consumption design

The car audio components which equipped in the car that various noises are surging are highly required to eliminate noises. RE-2 adopts ABS connector  which is good both in Balance and Unbalance connection. Normal RCA pin connectors are usable for ABS connectors. The balance connection is very effective to suppress noises intermixed into signal cables and clear sound.
Also RE-2 adopts large size speaker terminals, and which terminals hold cables firmly and transmit output signal surely to speakers.The construction of RE-2 arranges two output transformers in the center of it and suppress the influence of vibration from the car.The low electric power consumption design is one of important features.
Therefore RE-2 does not restrict types of the car because of reduced load to the battery by high transform efficiency it realized 2 mA at the waiting time and 3 A at the idling time.
